Gastroparesis
Etiology
- Endocrine: diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, cortisol insufficiency
- Postsurgical: vagotomy, partial gastric resection, fundoplication, gastric bypass, Whipple procedure
- Neurologic: Parkinson's disease, muscular and myotonic dystrophy, autonomic dysfunction, multiple sclerosis, postpolio syndrome, porphyria
- Rheumatologic: scleroderma
- Infection: postviral, Chagas' disease
- Other: amyloidosis, paraneoplastic, drugs, anorexia nervosa, idiopathic
