  • Cranial nerve 3 palsy (dilated or normal pupil), eg, diabetic neuropathy, posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) aneurysm
  • Horner’s syndrome (constricted pupil)
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Botulism
  • Age-related (sagging eyelid)
  • Eyelid inflammation or deformity
  • Congenital
  • Progressive external ophthalmoplegia (mitochondrial myopathy)
