  • Seronegative spondyloarthropathy, eg, reactive arthritis (Reiter's syndrome), psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, inflammatory bowel disease
  • Crystal-induced, eg, gout, pseudogout
  • Inflammatory osteoarthritis
  • Lyme disease
  • Paraneoplastic syndrome (especially in elderly, eg, hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy)

Noninflammatory

  • Osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease)
